BEFORE THEY WERE FAMOUS THEY PAINTED A MURAL….

By now if you haven’t read the Enterprise article you can click on the link to the left under ‘things to read’.  Gene, the photographer from the SE, took pictures last meeting…and also his presense seemed to jazz up this group of muralists.  A lot was accomplished.  Greg & Brad were not there due to a track meet (hope you won) and Spencer and Niki were doing some AP slogging.  Delaney, hmmmmmmmmm, hope she’ll be back because the Drake women artists are soooo good. It is too bad they could not be included in the group shot.  Everyone contributes! Anyway in actuality we’ve got to get the mural canvas up at the library soon to give Jackie a little space for working.  To work at the gallery has been really good. 

Chris has been a BIG help and last Thursday, Richard the Sculptor, helped out too. (That’s his great shadow of the crane.)  No prima donnas in this group which so nice, just some people with talent willing to share.  No, I won’t forget my usual  ‘JACKIE, YOU ROCK!’ mention.  Thank you to all….onward. . .’dia por dia, poco a poco.’
